One of only a few available in the entire country, the AMS PowerProbe is a versatile, track-mounted drill rig. Ideally suited to geotechnical and environmental investigations of all kinds, it can also run Geoprobe direct push tooling, solid and hollow augers, CPT and direct image systems, as well as rotary air techniques.

Its capacity for swapping applications within an alignment adds further to its versatility. For example, we can make use of direct push hammer to auger drive and then switch to SPT – giving an active service that saves time and maximises efficiency. The remote control tracker enables our operator to maintain a safe distance while working with the equipment, in keeping with our stringent safety culture.

Primarily used before drilling works commence, this unit is best suited to sub-surface clearance – allowing us to reduce the risk to costly underground infrastructure. Since the unit has been in the field, it has prevented many incidents that would otherwise have occurred.
